Well, do you? Maybe I'm just weird, but, one of the things I find myself doing a lot is trying to copy the voices of characters or famous people, if purely for my own amusement. I'm not a particularly good mimic or anything, but it's always good for a bit of a laugh with friends.

Anyway, I was just wondering if any Escapists can do impersonations, and please, share examples with us. =) I hate to be one of those OPs who asks people to post something when they haven't done it themselves, but I've got a cold at the moment and it literally hurts to talk; I promise I'll post one in a few days when I feel better.

Until then, I think the best remedy would be to hear someone else do an impression - it can be as obscure or as silly as you want; we're all in this for fun. And, who knows, maybe we'll discover some of us have a hidden talent. ^ ^

Nah, I'm not good with impressions, as hard as I may try sometimes. Though, apparently, my friends think that I do a great Dr. Girlfriend... >_>

I sometimes absent-mindedly find myself imitating people's accents when quoting them; I always have to apologise for the incredibly bad impression. So no... though I can imitate singing voices pretty well.

Heh. I just realised I forgot to mention the ones I do. I only really have a stable of about five specific voices I (think I can) usually do. Those are Liza Minnelli, Dorothy & The Wicked Witch of the West & The Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz, and Tali from Mass Effect (more the accent than the voice, since she has a damn flanging effect. <_<) All the other voices I do are just generic.

I'll put them up when my throat isn't killing me (I pinkie promise).
