the first thing I had was the Nod Symbol, then the Margonite Ascendant, then the Gold Dragon, then the Blue Dragon and now I have the Purple Dragon. The Purple one stays!!!!

I liked all of the Art-of-Kerem-Beyit dragon avatars but this one is my face here and sometimes I like to make him festive.

I kind of feel a connection, but it isn't really much special. However, if people I know change their avatars, I often get confused. It took me a while to work out The_Oracle changed his avatar, and if Neonbob ever changed his I'd probably be screwed remembering him.

Actually, a lot of times I don't even think of people by their usernames, just their avatars. Such as CO, sometimes I think of him as Hangover Man.

I don't think people recognize me with me KEEPING the avatar, let alone changing it.

Its hard to connect to an atom as such. But as its the only one (that I've seen) on the Escapist I do feel a little attached to it - I don't plan to change it anytime soon.
