I'm not sure exactly why but I don't really enjoy following the darker route in games. I have to play the hero every time and save everyone. ..Although it was fun detonating Megaton *cackle*

It's pretty difficult for me to do the evil thing unless I'm pretty pissed off.

Sometimes I'll even go the extra mile to ENSURE that things no matter how extra-difficult are as kind-hearted as possible.

But, if I get hit in the face for going that approach I have been known to keep those things in mind on other playthroughs like RPG's and choose the "best" options so I can have the "best" view.

I could never kill the Rachni queen in Mass Effect after I did it once and had to save load after.

Dragon Age and the Dwarf leader choice pisses me off that I chose Harrowmount and he turns out to drive it to extinction so I choose the other but that leads to me being hated by assassins.

Couldn't stand the taint the dragon blood either.

I don't play a whole lot of games that give you choices like that but I'd have to say that the closest I got to not wanting to kill something in the slightest was Zeke in inFamous 2.

I still killed him but if I wouldn't have if I had a choice.

I'm bad at playing the bad guy. I even quit Deus Ex after accidentally setting off a chain reaction and killing civilians I didn't know they were right there, although the game didn't force me to. Hopefully, Assassin's Creed 2 will help me get over this.
