So, members of the Escapist, do you have an alter ego? Whether it be your internet persona, or just a joke or something. I do, but sort of as a joke for my YouTube channel. My avatar shows this. Jaydin is meant to be the opposite of me: appearing to be cool and a complete douchebag while Chris, myself, is an awkward fellow.

Sure - One side of me is a creative philosophical storyteller, embracing the natural environment and eternally calm. The other side is more me when im tired. A raving lunatic.

Redlin: Well, do I master?

*Censored*: Well, yes and no. We're kind of the same and kind of different.

Redlin: Well, that is good enough for me. I do have an alter ego. He just prefers to stay behind the scenes, that's all.

Well, in high school a friend of mine said that I was actually a russian spy on the run from the russian mob. Since that year in high school, my friends have been adding on to this alter ego, by saying stuff like when I go to sleep my alter ego wakes up and becomes a gigolo and that is the reason I act so mellow all the time because I am tired from my work as a gigolo.

I just let them do it, but I think they are crazy.

A couple years ago my friends came up with an alter ego for me. I was a bearded Russian pirate who likes booty. Crazy things happen in scholastic bowl.

I guess I have more of an online alter ego of sorts, but it's kinda just me but %20 more outspoken.

Yes, yes I do. She's known as 'Pet', and she walks everywhere because she says it's healthy but really she's too bloody anxiety-riddled to be behind the wheel of a car. She also is incredibly adorable and loves wearing cat ears and lace.

(Frankly she creeps me the fuck out on occasion.)

The normal me is a somewhat shy person that normally keeps to himself. I'm not the life of the party, but I know how to have a good time.

Put a guitar in my hands, and that changes in an instant.

I have conversations with myself rather alot, sometimes for conversations sake or if I'm trying to work something out.
When I think to myself I also have 3 others and myself whom I engage with.

I do, like probably 90% of people on the net, but mine comes into play when i gotta plan something or take something apart (and yes planning includes any sort of FPS/RTS other then CS). I get evil (violent, diabolical, sadistic etc), or so i believe. My mates just say i voice my evilness as i sometimes find myself "doodling" intricate random traps or evil plans when i'm bored.

Oh yeah, a big filthy bucket of them. Most of them started when I was trolling CoD, but now I just break them out all the time. Apparantly I'm "funny".
Still not buying it, I reckon it's all an elaborate joke, and one day all my friends will come clean.

Now we wait for Jack and Calumon to show up...
Calumon's so cute though! <3 Pet absolutely adores him, and wants to hug him all the time! She also speaks in third person because she can, and Master prefers when she does. Calumon does sometimes too!

My alter ego is Ixion, the Lightning God. Thunder of the clouded plains, and bringer of technological artistry!

Yes. He's a normal, sane version of me that doesn't have a split personality. Because he's normal. And sane.

Although I did pretend to be a hobo alien from The Forbidden Zone of Space in a really bad video I made with my friends. Does that count?

There are many faces to Patrick, sadly when ever smug Patrick takes over, me and the 4000 other versions of me keep yelling "CLOSE YOUR MOUTH!!! SHUT UP!!! PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HATE YOU!!!". Sadly, there is no stopping the smug. (Angry Patrick can be a dick too, but he's also very fun when to hang with while playing Halo 3 XD)

Edit: This would be murderer Patrick, we don't see much off him =P

Me and my friends went to Niagara falls on a school trip and on the maid of the mist I spoke with a pirate accent the entire time we were on it.
So maybe I was joking... or maybe my alter ego is a pirate that takes over when ever I go out in a big boat! *Que dramatic music*

Not so much an alter ego, but I have different versions of myself for different environments (like work, with friends, at church, during class). It's always my personality, but there are certain parts of me that are more/less appropriate for certain situations.
