Not really, there is nothing in the Wii-U that you can't find in current gen consoles and handhelds.
Like say when the PS3 came out, did any other console have the ability to play DVD-Video? Same with the PS3 and Blu-Ray. When the XBOX came out, were there any other consoles with a hard disk drive? When the N64 came out, were there any consoles with an analog stick and four controller ports?
That's new and different. Nintendo needs to stop with the damn gimmicks and get back to the business of making games, consoles to run those games well and controllers that aren't overly complicated. If you play Wind Waker on the Gamecube, how often does the Gamecube misinterpret your commands?
