I don't normally watch this kinda stuff but I still talk about this thing I saw to anyone who will tolerate me.
This is the charity speed-run marathon, Games Done Quick, and I watched a dude beat Sekiro while blindfolded
I will have these streams sort of on in the background sometimes because I don't know most of these games well enough to truly appreciate the details of what they're doing, but I do know Sekiro 'cause it was my main obsession last year. So the exploits these people find to beat it are hilarious and fascinating.
My favorite part is around 1:12 when he defeats Genichiro. First he gathers every health potion equivalent in the game including the obscure persimmons. He exploits a particular spot in the arena where he can just whack Genichiro repeatedly for the first two health bars. Then the final lightning phases, it's a loop of baiting him into the thrust attack in order to counter, and just repeat using all those health upgrades. Madness.
