Its much to alike the Elder Scrolls series for me to really like, i loved the Elder Scrolls series, but it doesnt work as well for apocalyptic waste as it does for a big world (atleast in Morrowind, which is like the best in the series).

So all in all, its an okey game, though they shouldnt have copy-pasted so much stuff from Oblivion, would have been a great game if they actually would have made a new game instead of just changing the theme and upgrading some game mechanics.

It has guns and mutants and you can wander around for hours using the former on the later without going any where near the main story. 'Tis a good game.

Anyway, I haven't played the game. Then again, I'm pretty much in my "let's play old games" phase.

The setting just plain didn't interest me and the game suffered from too many of the same flaws as other games from the same developer. I could forgive a lot of the immersion-breaking stuff in Oblivion because I was so otherwise enthralled by the game (I've lost count of the number of times I've taken a Bosmer archer into the Great Forest and just hunted animals for a couple of hours because the game is that good). I can't seem to get past it with Fallout 3.

No matter how good a game is, if I can't get into the setting and the world it's in, I lose interest.
