That's my point. There was a chance to apply a personality to one. Even if it was only choosing your character's speaking style, ala Saint's Row 2.Aris Khandr said:Ultramarines don't have personalities. That's why they're the posterboys. They're so completely bland and uninteresting that you can throw them just about anywhere. They're the Bella of 40k, existing purely for self-insertion fantasy.SnakeoilSage said:how single player would be much more fun if it stopped trying to tell some other character's story and let you create your own with his own personality (and your own choice of endings based on his actions/personality).

so.much.THIS, there's more to the 40k lore then JUST the Space MarinesAris Khandr said:I'd like them a lot more if they would put the Adepta Sororitas into more games. Especially Space Marine's multiplayer.
you might want to change that, makes it sound like your a Matt Ward fan ......Soviet Heavy said:The Bolter Bitches would be destroyed though.
I'm being realistic. It would take several hundred SOBs to fight off a squad of Space Marines. They have power armor and bolters, but they don't have the genetic augmentations.Lunar Templar said:this is true,Soviet Heavy said:To me, Relic means quality. Thankfully their new mini codex makes the nuns with guns into a more badass army than the misogynist force of Matt Ward.
Soulstorm was not by Relic if I remember correctly, it was by Iron Lore who even while making Soulstrom knew they are going out of business. But regardless it really was bad, Sisters of Battle how can you fuck up something like that.MurderousToaster said:Relic are one of my favourite developers, Space Marine included.
Now I just need to cover my ears, rock back and forth and pretend Soulstorm didn't happen.
Warhammer: 40k Dawn of war. The first RTS type one that they released.OhJohnNo said:Which 40k game, may I ask?Clive Howlitzer said:The only two games of Relic I've played was Warhammer 40k and Company of Heroes. I thought both were ok but I don't really have an opinion about the developer.
