Sometimes while I am online I like to listen to game soundtracks. I would like to know what game soundtracks do you listen to when you are browsing?

I've never done this but my nephew will burn through the halo soundtrack while reading facebook. It always seems too epic for reading about what people ate for lunch. I'll stick with my music

Soundtracks are pretty much all I listen to nowadays, anime or game ones. Maybe some tracks that were used in a gaming video or something too. I'm in the middle of converting a game soundtrack from OGG to MP3 direct from the game files right now actually (ohh so technical) convenient timing I guess.

It's more of a game thing though, I dislike reading through the idiotic suggestions and circlejerk threads on the League subreddit with music on, like it'll contaminate the music or something. Geez, i'm half expecting the next thread to be "Riot please make the game play itself next patch" it's that bad lately.

Might as well post something I listen to regularly, that's the point of these threads right?

A lot of my comments recently have been Comyu related I think... I suppose i'm hoping that at least one of you will go and look it up and play it yourselves just to see what that bellend on The Escapist is on about.

There are a few OSTs that I consider genuinely good music and I listen to from time to time. Gothic 3, Rome: Total War, Medieval II: Total War and Stronghold/Stronghold: Crusader all have my favourite video game soundtracks. My favourite OST of all-time would be Basil Poledouris' score for the original Conan the Barbarian, and I'd rate the aforementioned video game OSTs as coming pretty close to that greatness.

All the time, but usually when I'm working on something. Game OSTs are really the only type of music I go out of my way to listen to.

I don't specifically listen to game soundtracks but I do listen to my favorite playlist that has some gaming tracks in them. The game music I have on my playlist is music from The Cat Lady, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, Mass Effect 3, and Crusader Kings 2.

Oddly specific to ask when browsing online, I listen to game soundtracks all the time if they fit the mood I'm in. Hotline Miami, Lone Survivor, quite a few indie games have great soundtracks you can just put on and listen.

I listen to Bastion's soundtracks when reading online occasionally. Especially the ones with lyrics. Thing is, I don't really like music without lyrics, so there aren't many game soundtracks I can listen to.

I often listen to game (and film) soundtracks when browsing online, I tend to listen to them while browsing maybe a third of the time. I mainly listen to the many indie game soundtracks that I have purchased over the years, however I also listen to soundtracks from franchises like Sonic, Mario, and Zelda on Youtube. Right now I am listening to the Binding of Isaac soundtrack.

Sometimes. Matt Uelmen and Danny Baranowsky are two of my favourite composers out there for great ambient background music, plus I've been listening to the Bastion and Transistor soundtrack as part of my regular lineup since the games were released.

I mostly listen to Dark Souls 2 Soundtracks (Longing, Nashandra), when I'm checking the Facebook or reading something long. These two tracks remind me of all the things I've been through...

The soundtracks for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Persona Q haven't left my earbuds all year.

From time to time yeah. Mostly Deus Ex 1 / System Shock 2 or the Dark Souls soundtrack. Oh and Alice Madness Returns. Also some older DOS games, One Must Fall, 1864, Major Stryker and the like. Technically at least Cries of a dead world by Miracle of Sound and Van Canto's Magic Taborea would also count since they were part of the soundtrack for Wasteland 2 and Runes of Magic respectively. Though technically none of this is specific for browsing, just part of my normal playlist.

Sometimes, but usually whenever I browse online, one of four things is playing in the background:Any TV show/movie that's playing on one of my favorite channelsThe "Game Selection" screen from Kingdom Hearts 1.5 or Kingdom Hearts 2.5A [random] podcast that I listen toA "full soundtrack"-type video that may or may not be video game-relatedMostly, the video game soundtracks I listen to (which are either the remastered tracks from Kingdom Hearts or the Persona Q soundtrack recently) are either during my walks and/or before I sleep on the floor again...

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Homeworld soundtracks (seriously these are so damn good). I used to listen to the soundtrack to Vagrant Story, but I haven't pulled out that CD in a while.

I also listen to various single songs from video games, in no particular order, just whatever suits my fancy at the moment.

I listen to music quite often. The particular kind of music I'm listening to at any given moment varies wildly by preference, activity, or mood. And, as my music collection is robust, it contains a number of game related songs and soundtracks. As such, I will listen to game music frequently. This includes occasions wherein I'm browsing the web.

So I suppose the answer to your question is: Yes. Sometimes. Depends on my mood or what comes up on Randomize All.
