If so do you understand it?

I must admit that my Itunes library has almost as much English language in it as the Oxford Dictionary. Though there are one or two exceptions. Such as Tool's Die Eier von Satan, which I'm told is a cookie recipe (Though my German is not really good enough to confirm that. Anyway the idea of it makes me chuckle). Still a Christian friend of mine won't listen to it, for fear it is actually some kind of devil music. Which is a pity cause it is actually pretty descent Industrial Rock, and was funnily enough the first Tool song I heard.
I am Swedish and i can confirm the lyrics of "Die Eier von Satan" witch means the eggs of Satan. It's something about a cup of sugar, some Turkish "hashish" or pot/marijuana and not using eggs? Yeah, and the over should be at 255 degrees i believe.

OT a have allot of English music.

Most songs I listen to are in English, so that's a big yes. Some are in German. Some are in Russian.

no because to me music is the mixing of music and lyrics, and while i can still enjoy the sounds i cant decipher the lyrics and give the songs the credit they deserve

I have mostly english, but a fair bit of Finnish and Swedish...and some Gaelic, a tiny bit of French I might have some German in there too... but for the most part English. I like listening to stuff in other languages sometimes though, even if I don't understand it I still appriciate how it sounds. A prime example of this is the japanese music I've listened to. I have no idea what they're saying most of the time...but it sounds good.

Yes, 80% of my Zune is J-music. I think music transcends language so music can make you feel good regardless of whether or not you know the language. As long as the songs are pleasing to listen to then that's all you need.

J-bands and artists I listen to include UVERworld, KOTOKO, FLOW, Abingdon Boys School, Shouko Nakagawa, the Zetsubou Shoujotachi and, one of my favs, Ikimono Gakari.
