Only at work and in the gfs car. The only station that I enjoy listening to hardly comes in because I am right on the edge of the broadcast.

I have an iPod, why the hell would I listen to a radio? Given the choice between all of my favorite music, at my fingertips, to pick the song I want, or a bunch of songs chosen by someone else, some good, some bad, all punctuated by what is supposed to be funny, but is really just annoying, radio banter, and shitty local commercials; I think I'll take the first option, please.

No. At least not on purpose. Well, maybe if a good song is playing while I'm changing CDs in the car or wakes me up in the morning with the alarm, but 99% of the time that's not the case.

I live on JJJ

For those of you who aren't from Australia, JJJ is a government funded radio station (that means no ads) which plays mostly alt stuff. They are big on local music as well which is rad.

For someone who wants to get a career as a radio announcer, I don't listen to the radio nearly enough. But when I do listen to it, I mainly listen to the intriging, and sometimes hilarious radio banter between announcers. As for the music, to put it bluntly, what Kpt._Rob said.

that is ok, if i want to listen to the same 10 songs i might as well repeat all a CD and at least get songs I like to repeat 100x a day for months >< well that is the stations out here anyway same songs for days, weeks maybe one or two is different or good but those rarely get played

I listen to pandora radio and occasionally this country music station when I'm in the car, but other than that, never. I seriously don't need to listen to Boom Boom Pow 500 million times a day. I've got my iPod so I can choose the songs I want.

I listen to CBC all the time, but I never listen to the more 'music' based stations. I have an Ipod for that....

Shows that I like on CBC (Canadian Brodcasting Corporation):
-Q (Talk show)
-Go (Musical Quiz show)
-Quirks & Quarks (Science Show)
-Vinyl Cafe (Canadian Show)
-The Debaters (Comedy)
-The Age of Persuasion (Its about Advertising)

They are all very good listens, I highly recommend them.

The radio here sucks unfortunately...:( Thank god for digital music!
Ditto. But with my taste in music the word "here" is superfluous. There's maybe three songs in my entire collection (close to 700 tracks) that a radio station would consider playing.

Naw, i haven't listened to the radio in years cause i don't have satellite and only dedicated stations will play the music i like (extreme Metal), so i just plug in my ipod and cruise down the road blasting Scar Symmetry or such, it's funny how many weird looks i get, i have never seen anybody on the road listening to metal like that in all my time in Indiana.

I do actually. We have an "alternative" station here in Holland that's not too horrible to listen to. The news given on it is mostly interesting, the music isn't as braindead as average and some of the jokes the DJ's make are even funny.

Call me old fashioned, but I ONLY listen to radio. Yes sir, good ol' 97.1 FM, WDRV "The Drive", Chicago's true oldies station. Hell yeah.

Though, I listen to radio on the internet mostly now, streaming live that kind of technological mumbo-jumbo. Does that still count as listening to radio?

Edit: No that wasn't an advertisement, I just like saying the name of that radio station really fast. Or, typing it really fast?

When I'm in a car but music stations today are sort of crap. It's rare to find something good that you can really get into.
