I mean, in a survival or multiplayer game, and you're the last man standing, do you start to panic or get scared?

No. As it was a team effort and we sucked compared to the other team I dont feel bad if I die. My team didn't do well. So why they shouldn't get mad when "fail them". If it turns into a 1 vs 1 it's just a little differnt.

I revel in it.
Especially like when in Space Marine when it's just me, my jump pack and axe, and a shit ton of orks.

Yep. I'm not very good, so it almost never happens. I get really paranoid, except not really because everyone actually IS after me! So I usually end up running around like a headless chicken until I'm killed.

Usually I either get instantly killed or the adrenaline kicks in, every shot finds its target and I become a walking murder machine.

Depends... I dread ending on a 1 vs 1 match, but I usually like it. Everyone on my team is watching me and I know I'll fail.

I remember once driving down grassy hills when we ran into a tank. We were all in jeeps and we're picked off rather quickly. Since I knew we were screwed instead of trying to turn and run I heard straight for the tank. I hit it (causing it to be disabled) then tossed a grenade blowing up the remains of the tank and unintentionally killing the enemies that had picked that moment to exit the tank.

It was epic and my squad was watching. Those times just feel good.

Neither, it's incredibly exhilarating. Sure it's likely to go wrong but by god when you pull off a 1 Vs EVERYTHING you will never feel that epic, montage shit right there.

Those are the BEST moments in gaming for me, beating insurmountable odds just makes your day. Like taking down the El Gigante's in Resi 4 with only your knife left. Oh that was fun.

I rather enjoy it. How I actually have a pretty good win ratio if I'm last man.
Unless its search and destroy. Then I jump out the nearest window. It's fun =D

No. Quite the opposite. I turn into the fucking Predator.

I've had LANs where everyone else was eliminated and go nuts.

In Invasion for UT2003, everyone died around Wave 25, and I'm the only person left fighting. Since they're dead, they're all start watching a movie or such waiting for me to die so we can start a new match or such, and then 20 minutes later everyone's computers are chiming "NEXT WAVE IN...."

"WTF?! Is that game still going?"
"Ok everyone, you're all alive again, I finished the wave!"
*mad scramble off the couch to computers*

It's pretty stressful in FPSs as they add the stupid cam to watch you as you play. So everybody is judging (even though you're obviously better cause you're still alive) you as you try to kill the last or few remaining enemies. They can't speak to you and you just know they're shouting at you "HE'S BEHIND THE WALL", "OMG NOOB TURN AROUND" but you can't hear them, everything is on the line and you don't want to disappoint them. Then you get a bullet through the brain and make a fool of yourself.

Or in WoW when you're on a raid boss and its down to the last 5% of health, and the group is wiping and its just you and a few players left, so not neccesarily the last man standing but you're struggling to increase your damage output while using damage avoiding abilities to take him down. Pretty epic when you pull it off.

Nah it's time to be a total badass and do it on your own. I love it how the pressure shifts on them, because it's expected that 5 people can take out just 1, but as that number gets steadily whittled down...

I haven't played much competitive multiplayer since CS:Source, but I loved being the last man standing. If you die, well, no one can blame you, since they all died too, and if you manage to kill a bunch of them, or win the round, then you're a god. It's a win-win, really.

It's also really fun to be the last man in counterstrike's zombie mod, because everyone else in the game (who've all been turned into zombies) comes after you.

The sens of panic is sometimes there. But I love it. I become a fuckin' beast. For example, when I'm the last man standing in Counter Strike, I am unstoppable. I start moving around the map with such surgical precision. I don't miss a single shot. My reflexes become godlike. Adrenaline is pumping, concentration to 100%, and I end up killing everyone 80% of the time. Did I say how much I fuckin' love it?

I don't panic but I do notice every single little mistake I make. Happened last night in ME3

It gets really tense but it is also pretty awesome, if your team fucked up than it doesn't really matter how you do. When you pull off a victory with crazy odds stacked against you and your whole team watching on cams, it is the most badass you are likely to ever feel. Gears of War, the first one, I swear at one time or another my friends and I were each turned into unstoppable badasses, it almost became an unspoken rule that the last man standing HAD to completely demolish the other team and the messed up thing is it usually went that way.

I panic and become super twitchy, which normally gives me amazing accuracy. Which usually ends up with me winning if its against 2 or 3 people, but anymore and I'll inevitably fail.
