Do you Pee with the door open?

I leave it open all the time if I'm home alone. Even sometimes if people are home because I live downstairs and nobody dares enter my lair.

No, simply because the room my toilet is in is tiny, so if you leave the door open, you can't get to/on the toilet.

I leave it open. The only bother I have ever had is the cat or dog wandering in and looking at me before wandering back out. They walk around naked, so it's not like they care what I'm doing.

Wow, never thought about it until now. I never close the door (and I'm married) except when there are people over. During those occasions, I actually close both doors--our master bath toilet is sectioned off from the rest of the bathroom.

I've even carried on conversations while, umm, engaged. . .

If I'm alone in the house, 99% of the time I'll still close the door. If I don't close the door, I have to actively THINK not to close it. Habit.

Plus, I'd rather not have an awkward moment of someone coming in at that exact second and catching me with the door open.

I leave it open most of the time but that is because I have an apartment alone so it isn't like anyone is going to walk in on me.

I tend to leave it open, if noone is around. Sometimes leave the door open if partner is home, but he'll shut it if he sees... really doesn't like me leaving the door open.

He always shuts (and usually locks) the door if he's going to the bathroom.

my ex girlfriends grandpa had one of those super nice old houses..that had a fucking toilet right there "in" the kitchen. so yeah, definitely became oblivious to people looking if i'm peeing/pooing


honestly, everyone pees and poops, no big deal. (unless you have a sledgehammer sized shlong like my old math teacher, good lord almighty...)

Of course! Why would I want anyone walking in on me during a bathroom break? Especially knowing the trollish nature of my brother and sister. I also wouldn't like my cats trying to jump on my lap while I'm sitting on the toilet.

I will always close the door, and lock it, too. It doesn't matter wheter anybody is home or not, that door will be locked. It is hardwired into my brain.
