My mom says it was "Dah". Sure it was the first sound I made but they it was such a big deal to them that they consider it a first word. I don't remember what really is.
No word of a lie, my first word ever was Tyrannosaurus Rex. I used to be obsessed with dinosaurs, and my parents can vouch for that claim.DrDeath3191 said:Our first words are an important step in our lives. They show that we have control over our lips and toungues to express thought. It's a marvellous thing. Do any people here remember their first words? What were they?
I know I do. It was around the Christmas season, and we were watching the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer claymation movie. Do you guys remember the song "There's always tomorrow"? Well, those were my first words, and I sang them.
EDIT: You know, 2000 posts in and you'd think I'd have learned a thing or two. If a mod is reading this, kindly move this to the 'Off-Topic' forums. Thank you.
Holy shit! Me too, mine was T-Rex (not abbreviated though).Fanusc101 said:Triceratops.
Obviously it was horribly mispronounced. But yeah, I was one of those kids obsessed with dinosaurs.
