Do you shave?

I shave my face once a day now to stay clean shaven. I can't stand the feel of facial hair. So I think it's kind of unfair that I've had to shave since I was 14.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of facial hair for good?

Don't think thats possible but I heard you can laser it so it doesn't grow for 6 months.

hrm. I shave my those portions of my face not covered by beard twice a week, and I trim the beard at least once a week.

However, I will use this opportunity to evangalize:

Men and women: please please PLEASE consider shaving or at least trimming the hair in what my dearest and I call 'the critical areas' regularly. (The areas we are speaking of should be obvious.)

The bottom line is: Less hair equals less sweat equals less B.O.

Learn it, know it, live it. Trust me, you (AND your partner) will be happier.

I'm obliged by my job to start the day with a clean shave. I generally don't shave on non-work days, but after a few days I generally shave the neckbeard off as it gets uncomfortable. When I'm away from my wife for protracted periods, and it's hot, I often shave my head.

Yes, I realise it did/does sound rather desperate in the way I put it. What it was, was a covered up compliment. Mostly because you don't see close-up of women on forums, so it was half kudos for that, and then the other half since you're not half-bad looking.

It's always easier to make oneself look desperate than sincere, I mean, on a forum anyway.

But on the topic: I see I'm a hypocrit, obviously(as you noted) I was being ironic in the last part of my post. I still can't change, though, I must say it makes me cringe whenever I see a women with hairy armpits or "man-arms".

To each his own, I guess. But that stuff is not for me.

There's not. I've had to shave moustache-area since I was 13, so I know how you feel. The other parts did come until 16 or 17 though.

Lucky you. With me, it was the other way around...

Anyhoo, I only shave my facial hair, and only very sporadic. Probably less than once a month. I don't like the feel or look of my face without hair; it looks like I'm chinless. Besides, I kind of like rugged look in the face. With it, they pay less attention to my manboobs and beer belly.
