Do you tend to avoid 'off-topic' sub-boards on forums?

I tend to myself, because it tends to be almost anything goes and so someone could easily say something that throws me for a loop as opposed to stuff that's generally on the topic of the forum.

Well your post didn't make too much sense but I'll go ahead and answer your thread anyway...

No, no I don't. For one I'm posting in one now, also in the forums I've been having affairs with recently they're pretty much where I set up shop. There's always a nice range of interesting people to discuss crap with. Free form conversation > restricted topics any day of the week.

Wait. You're asking people if they avoid the off topic discussion forums in the off topic forum? There's a word for that.

And I think my post answered the question.

Actually, I was about to post a thread in the off topic forum. So, there's that, too.

I don't avoid them I've just been spending my time in other forums recently. There are those threads that pop up that I would like to see disappear but people keep posting in them, but the threads here are usually interesting so I keep coming back.
