From the series, I'd say that yes, he would eventually be caught. As has been pointed out, he acts on impulse and makes mistakes. Plus if you've got people close to you, you're at risk of being 'too honest' one day.

I disagree about the song; I think the music they use currently fits perfectly both the theme tune and the in show music.

As for him being caught, almost certainly. Questions would be raised purely by how much time he spends catering to his dark desire when he should be working / taking care of Rita and the kids.

In fact, if you think about it... he has been caught, several times. Just all the people who have caught him have ended up either dead or taking the fall for his actions.

I think if he is as smart as they say he is on the show, he ought to be able to keep his laboratory a secret from his parents, still. Maybe if Mandark tried to sabatoge him...

That would not be a cliffhanger. Thats a definite end. Still, I think that would be good.
