But since I stopped doing cosmology, meh there's always a chance something could go seriously down, but I reckon we're measuring our time in centuries or millenia instead of months.

There is, and always has been, a possibility of all life ending at any moment. However, it is not significantly more likely to occur tomorrow or any other day than any day during the billions of years in earth's history.
Plus, people have been saying that the world is going to end soon for thousands of years, and they haven't been right yet.
I believe the rapture is coming. Who knows when though, everyone who ever tried to predict it was wrong. It even says in the bible we wont be able to predict when it happens! Which makes me confused when someone takes the bible, counts ever occurance of the letter 'p' or some shit, runs it through some random ass forumla and says they have the date of the apocalypse!
