Yes. Also think that the Sires are early Locusts (duh), Locusts were created - most likely by Marcus' dad - and that Gears 3 will probably have another attempt at a heart wrenching scene like they did in Gears 2.

It's possible, for me to believe at least. It sounds like Gears would go that cliche route, and make the main enemy a family member of the protagonist.

I stopped caring for whatever happens in the story anyway, it all seems like one big mess.
