Such a bummer to hear she's gone, but she lived a full and happy life. Thank you for entertaining the world's Whovians, you will be missed.

First off: this is a tragic event, and the world has lost a truly great actress. But one thing annoys me.

If you watch BBC's "tribute" to Elisabeth Sladen, they talk all about her role on Doctor Who and SJA. But what about her actual life? Her family? Her off screen personality? There must have been more to her as a person than "starred in a popular TV series." For shame, BBC.
It's a shame to leave her private life just that-- private?

I'm sure her colleagues, friends and family have memories of her that go beyond the professional. Surely those who wish to, and feel comfortable doing so, will make mention of such, as Baker did on his site.

A little respect for the bereaved seems to me nothing to be ashamed of.

When I heard this I went back and watched all the recent episodes with her in them to make myself feel better.
She was amazing.
