That's exactly how I felt about it. I was really hoping it would be some right-wing nutjobs trying to prove that Notch is out to get America or something somehow. To be fair, left-wing nutjobs would also have been entertianing, but now it's neither. I would so have loved to see that, too.Taunta said:
Actually, I'd be surprised if there's anything to tell. Notch had this idea for a game and he went out and did it, and it was unexpectedly popular. It's not like he sold his house to raise money or invented something. It's mostly going to be trivia, like how the Creeper is a failed model for something else and why the day/night cycles work the way they do and why he made it low-res. Probably no depth, but I'd still like to see him try to remember what inspired him to this, that, and the other thing.Sydust said:
I can agree with this, but look how fast the game grew. With that much growth and profit there should definitly have been more added to the game, the guy is all but set for life now. adding cake and calling it a major update isn't really my idea of progress.Asehujiko said:
