Does anybody else feel guilty about replaying games?

Because I'm not making any progress on my backlog. I don't want to die with 50 unplayed games sitting on my shelf.
If it means that much you, I suggest you get started on games you know have not played or completed yet. You alone have the choice.

Nah, nothing wrong with revisiting an old friend. Am I a little embarrassed about how many times I've played the Arkham games? Yeah, but that won't stop me from continuing to do so.

I don't think guilty is the word, but I often think "man, I don't have the time to play all the new game" while at the same time replaying the same game again (atm I'm playing trough zone of the enders 2 and xenosaga 1, both game I've played trough at least 4 time each).

But replaying game is great because even if the game doesn't change, we do. And so some stuff I didn't like as a kid I found quite liking and vice versa (I have no idea why I was so tolerant of grinding as a kid, prob cause I only got a new game every 2-3 months). Plus some game have great replay value trough gameplay or story (FFX story is better the 2nd time around imo).

I feel guilty about playing games in general. They are a massive waste of my time that could be spent doing things like learning or creating ... but I love them.

I actually feel less guilty about playing an old game I've played before that I can complete in a few hours as opposed to diving into a time-eater.
