Does anybody else here play Neopets?

I know this might sound pretty dumb at first, but I am truly convinced it is a deep and clever web-based RPG. After what I have seen the past few years on the site, I can hardly believe it is only aimed at young children to "play dress-up with virtual animals". So I confessed, can anybody else out there confess as well?

I used to play it about 7 years ago. From what I can remember it was linked to McDonalds doing a promotion with their "happy meal" toys. I don't remember it being much more then a Facebook game though.

i dont but my sister used to play that all the time when she was a bit younger and i remember her showing me all her pets n such.

I've been playing it for 11 years now. I log in just about every day.

I used to play Neopets. Then I made a stupid arrow joke gave my account to my friend who later sent them to the pound for losing one Neobattle.

I remember the leveling up to be hard to do, but the games were fun. Maybe it's changed but I've moved on and I saw that you can spend real money on special money and I avoid that kind of evil at all costs.

I used to yea, I remember I played the heck out of the games and saved up enough to buy a Paint Brush from a shop then I realised that there was actually a limit on how expensive an item could be therefore they were unbuyable because literally everyone had there brush above that amount.
