Does anybody know this game?

Okay, I don't have much to go on, seeing as this was about 10 years ago, more or less. This game was on the original Playstation. If I recall correctly, it had a sort of space theme to it (not necessarily cyberpunk, but it might have been). Your very first goal in the game is to find a sweater to prevent from freezing to death. If you don't find it fast enough, I'm pretty sure you died. I remember being trapped in one room until I had this sweater. I never found the sweater and went on to a different game, being about 8 at the time.

So, does anybody have any slight idea as to what game this was?

I suspect you'd have been bored to tears after finding a sweater. This game was very story-driven. It played like a Silent Hill in space, only the monsters were spread waaaay thin. Character actions were limited and slow. But if you dug the story it was very enthralling.
