Does anyone besides me remember Actraiser?

Back in 1991 Enix made Actraiser, a really nice genre blending (RTS, SIM, Action/platform) game where you more or less played God. Well during the RTS/SIM portion you physically controlled your little crony or "angel" if you will, while he built up cities in your name. I won't sit here and explain the whole game I'll just say I wondered if anyone besides my nerdy black ass remembered it.




Yes I enjoyed stiking buildings and people with lightning and I hated that kid Teddy, but that one guy who wanted to be "showered in his master's tears" I question a bit..............

I remember playing it a bit about 14 years ago, what I played was a lot of fun.

That was quite fun game. I beat that game three times and I am currently trying to beat professial mode. It is available on the Wii Shop Channel if your interested in buying it again.

i know of it, but i have never been bothered to find it on ebay or an old games store

I loved this game!

I was surprised at its depth, reading on gamefaqs that your score during the action sequences can determine how large your towns grow in the sim-parts for some levels.
