Recently, my ears felt kind of funny, so I decided to do a little spelunking with a q-tip. 2 minutes and 7 q-tips later, I ended up with something resembling a collection of carmel apples. Disgusting, fuzzy carmel apples, but still. What's really bad is that I have to do this every couple days. This little deep cave adventure, however, got me thinking. Escapist, does anyone else have this level of waxy buildup?

Well, earwax forms to stop dirt getting really deep inside your ears, so all I could suggest is: Use headphones less, wash your ears slightly more and... don't get covered head to toe in mud?
I've really no idea what you do in life, so, this is just a random list.

Me though, I get quite a bit of wax in my ears, but it's quickly solved when I shower, hot water does amazing things to wax, especially when added with lemon shower gel!

I have lots of loose wax, but the real story is in these huge, rock-solid lumps two or three yards back there. I once had a doctor check out my ears for me since I was in for a check up. She gave me a weird, what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you look, asked me how the hell I could even hear her and got out the tweezers. "You have some nice sized lumps in there, I'll try to get them out." "I sort of gathered that when you pulled out the claws," I thought to myself. "Okay," I told my doctor. Those chunks of goopy goodness were solidified and attached to my ear canal so bad that the doc pulled my whole head when she tried to remove them, and she gave up because she didn't want my ear canal to get ripped, and I still have the little bastards in there. When you ask a weird question, be prepared for a weird answer.
