Does anyone else Respect Justin Timberlake?

What I mean is: Justin Timberlake has done a lot ever since he left N*SYNC. Not only that he's done it (usually) his own way. As well, he voices his opinion on the degradation of popular music. Essentially what I'm trying to convey is that though I don't enjoy his music, his opinions are quite worth the respecting. I, for one remember one time during the VMA's he issued a challenge to MTV to "Play more music videos." After that, I thought he was a pretty cool guy. eh challenges mtv and doesn't afraid of anything.

Edit: Perhaps I was not clear on what I had stated. I was not asking you of an opinion on his music, but rather his opinions on various topics. The only one I have is the aforementioned MTV challenge.

He achieved nothing deserving my respect and I don't know him personally, so he gets the same level of respect I give any random guy on the street. He does come across as a decent bloke though.
