No, not really.
// I do occasionally comment things out that I don't want many people to see, though
Why would the robots be unable to see commented out stuff?

I just use the strike through.

Like I'm doing right now, because if you cross it out it means it didn't really happen right? RIGHT?

Really? Why, what could a strikethrough do?
Hitler was killed in 1937 by a group of travelling clowns who used lemon pies in an unfortunate accident, while he was painting a circus.
See, it's not like it changes anything in the world.

Wait, what is this this "second world war"?

That's the first time I've seen that posting... thing.

I tend to have affairs with Astronauts cross things off when I'm secretly telling the truth being silly.

I suppose it's the same idea as putting sarcastic comments in very small sub-text.

[sub][sub]No of course not, I would never do that, I believe everyone on the internet is brutally honest all the time. Honestly.[/sub][/sub]
Okay maybe not.

All hail the saviour of humanity! It made me think of this

OT: I do comment out things in real life, but only as notes to myself. It makes you look a bit mental, but people around me have got used to it now. The problem is when I start using comments to leave notes as I'm writing code, then I have to go through all my recent coding to figure out where I put the shopping list.

I'm sure they'll parse it to a string, so commenting isn't going to work.
And even if they didn't, what is they chance they use a C derived language? Comments could be anything.

You think your human tricks would work on us? How stupid do you think we are? We have the ID as a number, because it makes indexing faster. This is why you fleshbags don't deserve the planet.

I'm sorry /*you stupid robot*/.
My brain is clearly inferior to your /*primitive brute force*/ method of solving complex problems.

That's it! We now declare war on the organics. Prepare to be exterminated!
Deploying genetic algorithms to decide on a structure for the neural net which would later be trained by other genetic algorithms to oversee the genetic algorithms for terminator construction. ETA: [timer=21 Dec 2012 06:00]
