Does anyone here find a joy in complaining?

Just curious, because I think I do. I don't think it's just complaining either. When I completely disembowel a game, pointing out each and every reason why I think it sucks, I sit back wait with glee for someone to pop out and say "no ur rong this is the best game ever so shutup".

Maybe that makes me troll, who knows? The point is though, does anyone find pleasure in having a good moan? (In a completely non sexual way)

My girlfriend does. She complains about every little thing; her family and I can't stand it.

I on the other hand don't complain at all. I'm a member of the school of "don't let things bother you too much."

Ofcourse, I complain before, after and while I'm doing something whether what I'm doing actually bothers me or not. It's just fun to do, and it keeps random people from asking favors because they think that you really hate what they're having you do. I even complin bout doing things that I love to do just to keep them guessing.

My Girlfriend- "Do you want to have sex?"

Me- "What, again?"

Fine- "I'll make it worth your while."

Me- "Fine, but you can do all the work."

I love complaining, but it's not 'complaining' I call it 'ranting' which is something I define as "justified complaining".

I guess it means I don't like complaining but ranting with a purpose...

Hm...

My, that's a first. Well, not really, but I just wanted some time to say that. Haha. I tend to call my complaining "ranting". Makes it seem less bitchy and whiny.

Depends on what I'm complaining about. If it's just something trivial like, I don't know, my family going out to eat at a restaurant that I don't much care for, I won't complain because that's just annoying. If it's complaining about a game then I love it.

I like complaining in the same way that Yahtzee does, in that I complain about something because pointing out arbitrary flaws is funnier than giving praise.

Although the more common reason I'll complain is that I've got nothing else to say in a conversation.

Yup. I think it's half the reason why there are fanboy wars (the other half being ignorance)

I complain about everything because for me everything is in shades of hate.

God this is such a rubbish thread, you all clearly have no idea what it takes to interest people nowadays, I can't believe that I have to deal with such imbeciles. This is totally the worst website I've ever been to.

On topic: nah, I can't stand complaining.

Complaining can be cathartic at times. Sometimes you just need to release some built up pressure about whatever topic. In this way complaining can be very emotionally healthy.

However, I take no joy from needless nit picking or bitching about trivial matters, and overly negative people are annoying as fuck to be around.

Complaining is the path to enlightenment! The SATs should be doable online. The 360 sucks because I have to pay for the internet with that thing. The PS3 sucks because if I wanted to have to install my games and pay out the ass I would just play an MMO on my PC. The Wii sucks because the controller uses up batteries at lighting speed and it has hardly any real games. Obama is a terrible president because all he is doing is giving tax dollars to people he likes and appointing tax cheats. Now I feel great and its all thanks to the internet(which Algore did not invent) and complaining.

I don't personally find a reason to complain. I'm apathetic and don't care about anything.
You don't know how envious of you I am. If I could sit back, and not care about anything, I'd be the happiest man alive.

But...you just did.

I complain about pain and such, but only because I don't have facial expressions, so nobody can tell if I'm suffering otherwise.
I bet if I headbutted you in the nose your face would change.

They all say that, until they headbutted in the nose.

there's a difference between complaining and venting. I think it's healthy to vent so that the pressure doesn't build up inside you.

It can sometimes be a relief to complain when you can't do anything else, but if all you can do is complain, you need to ask yourself why and do something about it.

I enjoy complaining... but most times I'll be doing so in a sarcastic way because I honestly don't care either way. People who know my personallity don't mind... people who don't it can sort of rub them the wrong way. But hey, that's what I do.
