Does anyone not hate the Transformers movie

It seems like every member of the Escapist has a strong hatred towards Michael Bay's Transformer movies, and while I understand they are not the greatest interpretation of the series, I wouldn't call them garbage. So Escapist does anyone actually like these movies or are they just that awful.

I enjoyed them and the 2hrs of explosions, fighting, and humor that they brought me. I believe the majority of the escapist are too "sophisticated" to enjoy some mindless entertainment sometimes.

Much of the time it's because it makes them feel like they're 'better' than all the people whom do. The movies are great fun, exactly what I would expect from a movie based on TOYS FROM THE 80's

**imagine a kid playing with the toys**
"vroom, i'm going to blow up the earth!"
"vroom vroom, not if i can stop it!"
**crashes them together, and imagines in his mind an epic battle with explosions gallore**
crash, boom, purdy explosions.

That is what micheal bay captures with the transformers movies, and I, like the many whom pay to see the movies, LOVE IT.

But yeah, kids here often have serious case of being snooty bitches.

I really like the first one, since it actually was a decent reimagining of the Transformers. Seeing them transform into stuff was actually pretty mindblowing, how it all went together in the bots. However, by the second one, that initial "charm" was gone. Well, that and they included a duo that was interchangeable to the PSP Squirrels, which was more of an annoyance to me.
