No it's not the band.
So recently I was reminiscing about when I was younger and I remembered one of the old online adventure games I used to play. It was called Steppenwolf: The X-Creatures Project, and it was made by Sarbakan and Warner Brothers. I remember it actually going into quite a bit of depth, with animations set in between the game episodes to set up plot points and dedicated character and monster biographies on the website.
In a fit of nostalgia I actually tried to look it up again and, while you can find the episodes up on various gaming sites, the original site (and presumably all the animations) are gone with WB no long linking to them.
My question to you Escapists is this: Did any of you ever play Steppenwolf and do you know more about it? Like, why did WB fund it in the first place and why did they shut it down? Who worked on it and how did they make it? General thoughts on the game?
