I played it yesterday, actually.xxhazyshadowsxx said:Weird. I was just playing the original like 10 minutes ago on my PSX.
Crash Team Racing was the best racing game I've ever played... ever. POLAR FTW!Blackadder51 said:Does anyone remember the original Crash Bandicoots? Im only referring to the ones that came out for the playstation 1, and if so do u still believe that they are still worthy Games in this day and age? I still reckon they are and i find myself comparing them to modern games. (oh yeh my fav is still crash Bandicoot 3)
This, except I wasn't awesome enough to make the hat.steeltrain said:Do I remember Crash? I remember Crash. I remember living in a one bedroom guest house with my parents and my brother. And me and him would argue over who got to play the PS1 now. I remember playing through levels 4 or 5 times. I would know where every enemy was and where every fruit was hidden. I think I was obssessed. I memorized every line of dialogue, and even sewed a little crash head onto a hat.
Then Crash Team Racing came out. And there was much rejoicing, by both us and our parents. Finally we could play at the same time. We would sit down and play for hours, running through every track 2 or 3 times. I can recall many times going into the final lap with all the CPU drivers a lap behind, and us pushing each other. Both in the game and in real life. Fighting to reach the finish so we could laugh in the others face, even though we'd go right back to another race.
Yeah, I remember Crash.
It was made by Traveller's Tales, if I remember, and probably the last good Crash game they ever made. After that point, the franchise went downhill.Blackadder51 said:Scythos said:Terrible question: But which one was Wrath of Cortex. It was technically my brothers but I loved it =D
Even if he did blame me for breaking the game when he got the bad ending.
lol it was the 1st one on playstation 2 and wasn't developed by naughty dog,
That bazooka was so awesome many nights were wasted just shooting random stuff with itSharpeye42 said:2 and 3 were really good but if i had to choose it would be 3 because of the bazooka i loved blowing up chickens.

Please, please say you mean the lame original, and not Deep Cover Gecko, because Deep Cover Gecko is one of my favourite games of all timeChromeAlchemist said:Maybe after Mario 64 I was spoiled. I despised those titles, and only really played a handful of platformers at the time. It was weird, I never questioned my tastes as a child but in retrospect my choices in what I hated and what I liked was a bit unpredictable.Crash486 said:Ugh, I remember Gex,Ugh I remember gex, that game was horrible. I never played spyro or rayman but I remember bandicoot being alright. It was no mario64 but it was still decent.ChromeAlchemist said:Do I remember it? Yes I do. Did I like them? I'm afraid not, I despised Bandicoot, Rayman, Spyro, Gex, and just about every platformer on the playstation, I really did.
Not sure if they could stand up to games today though, perhaps not.
I always wanted to play Deep Cover, never did. So the original.OptimusHagrid said:I never really got into the original and the second, but I have always loved the third.
