Does anyone still care about Machinima?

Well, Red vs Blue certainly kicks ass. Speaking of which, does anyone know if they're making another season?

At the Roosterteeth panel at PAX Gus Sorola straight out told us that they would keep making Red Vs Blue, as long as people kept watching Red Vs Blue.

Burnie Burns said that the ending for Revelation was more so, to put the "Church" plotline to rest, seeing as his plot had kind of encompassed the show for several of the later seasons, which were all very good, but that they wanted to be able to go another way. At least that's how we all interpreted it.

And I'm pretty sure I remember Geoff saying something more recently about being in the new building recording Grif lines, but, he may have just been teasing

I like to watch Hutch and that beast of a man Seananners but Machinima and channels like Machinima concern me.

Anyone who looked on their channel during MW2 era would have noticed that the MW2 video's and commentaries were so frequent it seemed like there were no other types of video's and then people wanting to go into commentating like Hutch or Seananners because of the subscriber appeal and mass also started doing MW2 to get on the bandwagon and people just became tired of it very quickly.

Now the same appears to be happening with CoD Black Op's it's like Deja Vu but thats my only concern with Machinima that their influence over people in the youtube community will oversaturate youtube with Black Op's video's to the point where people will get bored of them all the time other than that good on them for doing what they do.

They sometimes do come out with some interesting stuff, but I'm more of a fan of Rooster Teeth, Blistered Thumbs and The Escapist for my gaming news.

I watch videos from Hutch, Seananners, and Tejb sometimes if I wanna watch some CoD gameplay vids. And I'll watch some of Chris Smooves NBA2k11 videos sometimes..

All great commentators those, but I gotta say they all pale compared to the side splitting madness of El Presador:

I was really big into it while Tech TV and G4 were still separate channels and they'd have segments from them on there, but as of now I get all my gaming news from either here or from ING.

I know they didn't make it, but the fact they chose to air it is a good enough redemption for all those MW2 vids

"Good" is the last word I would use to describe Arby 'n' the Chief. It was the machinima equivalent of Call of Duty. Just releasing new videos as fast as he could. Digitalph34r went for quantity rather than quality.

It's how the man made a living, unfortunately.

I used to like DigitalPh33r's stuff, but it got...shite. It's all I can say. Can't stand Machinima the company.

I've always liked Red vs Blue though.

The golden age of actual Machinima is dead, but its still here.
As for the website correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've heard it was only ever really popular among the hardcore-fags.

By actual Machinima I mean just that, Red vs Blue so of stuff, thats Machinima.
Modern Warfare 2 montages, not Machinima.

I don't know. I think I read something that says there will be another. I think it's too large of a cliffhanger for the writers to leave it. That'd be a dick move.
