Used it for a very short time, was totally underwhelmed, never used it again.

Same thing that happened to me with facebook and myspace. The only thing I'm actually on now is this place and Youtube.
THIS.

I do. Not much though, and don't have many followers, but i like the concept and simplicity, without the epic spamfest that is Facebook.

If you click on Community there's is a twitter link that shows tweets from escapist members...

I do. I simply follow a range of different game development studios...it means I get links to articles on key gaming sites when they appear, occasionally see developers announcing new game details and get a wealth of information whenever a key event such as E3 occurs.

It's rather useful.

Only people whose opinions allways seem to be able to fit into text message lenght highlights.
Kindof like how I can't be bothered to answer most forum posts with a lot of words.

People who thrive on reading twitter should buy a ticker tape or just watch the lower half of the TV when it's on CNN :O

Whenever I see someone thinking about the possibility of maybe twittering some time, I punch them in the stomach.

*sigh*
Guilty pleasure...

I joined because I'm too lazy to check the websites of all my favourite artists and found Twitter to be a quite easy way to stay updated. And as time flew by I started to post one message a day...

Anyone? Yeah. Me? No. I don't care about all that shit. I don't twit, I don't blog, I don't facebook, I don't hyve (some ridiculously popular shitty Facebook+MySpace knockoff from the Netherlands, copying an internet trend like we always do *cough*Marktplaats*cough*), I barely even e-mail. I don't really give a flying coitus about letting the whole wide world know I feel happy/sad/sleepy/hungry/whatever. And over time, it's grown into a sort of constantly simmering repulsion I feel for the whole trend. I just don't give a rodent's backside about the soul-searching tangents or wacky drunk antics of some random bloke two thousand miles away, unless I've come to know them first (on forums, then usually progressing to the occasional MSN convo).

IRL, I'm actually quite empathic. But on the internet, somehow a sort of indifference takes hold, a low-key misanthropic feeling, probably partially because most of the time I spend on the internet I'm tired and somewhat sleepy.

Aaanyway. No, I don't have a Twitter account. And I'll never have one. You hear me? NEVER! Over my dead body! AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHey is that a tranquiliser dar- *gets dragged off to the loony bin*
