It's so funny when I show my drunk buddy the next day when he's sober how he played thanks to Halo 3's saved films.
That sounds a lot like my interpretation of sheer heaven.Quaidis said:So yeah, if I were drunk and somehow managed to get my hands on a controller or a Wiimote, I probably would not get far into turning the thing on before laughing like an idiot and dropping into a deep sleep.
No you're not, drinking a couple beers loosens my muscles, makes me less uptight so I can play smoothly instead for jerking my gun around the screen like a paranoid little girl. It also gives me more confidence in doing some things I wouldn't normally do when gaming sober, and then they usually succeed as well. All other types of games like RPGs and RTS are already lower paced so you're not as uptight or they just require too much thinking, so either we're both freaks of nature or it's just natural (wow, the logic..)Spacelord said:When drinking, my (normally abysmal) skill in FPS'es goes up exponentially, while my skill in all other game genres declines very rapidly with every beer. I'm a freak of nature.

Erm, but in all seriousness, it actually imrpoves more perfomance, for example, a I completed the Master and the Molotov on GTA4 whilst drunk, when I couldnt complete it sober after 8-9 attempts...
the message: get some more beers
