Does confidence really help?

I am pretty cocky in everything that I do. It's kind of something that I've gotten more.

You see, when I was younger, I got picked on a lot because I am Chinese. Also, I was really timid so I didn't have the balls to stand up for myself and bullies kind of just targeted me.

Now that I've gotten more confident, I've gotten more friends, now take more pride in myself and have a girlfriend. Also, my english speech marks have gone up which is always a plus.

However, I kind of hit the confident mark and then go on another 100 yards. Yeah, I'm pretty arrogant too.

You can't see confidence technically, although it resonates from the way a person carries themselves, how their clothes sit on them, how they behave around others, etc.

Of course it's important, and the most important thing is that it can be faked - it just takes a lot more concentration then if it comes to you naturally.

I believe so; someone who exudes confidence is easily comparative to someone who is more shy just by the way they hold their body - confidence can put you ahead in a BIG way over someone who appears more mousy!

Confidence is almost entirely a non verbal communication. The way you walk, the way you act, the way you wear your clothes and the way you are around people. It all shows quite easily. Confident people will have very open postures, while insecure people will tend to try and collapse on themselves and close up. Confident people are usually more outgoing which makes it more fun to be around them.

If I didn't have confidence I would never have met my wife. Girls easily notice confidence.

You're absolutely right.

If you can get used to faking confidence you'll eventually find yourself not faking it anymore and you will become totally comfertable with yourself.

It depends how open minded the person you're hitting on is though.

Yes. It makes an enormous difference. The amount of difference it makes cannot possibly be overstated.

I have zero confidence. I am very self-conscious of myself. I will say though that if people won't accept me or like me because I am not confident I say forget about them.

They aren't worth my time anyway.

if you say what you think for instance, most likely that thought will be something every1 thought and no-one dared to say, people will admire you for that.

i,ve seen the most horrific/ugly guys with the hottest girls.(just for the confidence)

It really does. You can tell if someone is confident, and it usually makes them seem a lot more atractive.
