Just asking. Seeing a lot of reviewers and console players praising C2 for it's "unique" gameplay.
So it's at least as "overrated" as the first crysis, according to some folks here, eh?Irridium said:From what I've played, not really. Its more or less the same. On the PC at least.
Although turning super-speed into a standard sprint is pretty weak.
EDIT: Also, the multiplayer eschews any form of uniqueness just to be like Call of Duty.
A stupid move in my eyes. Could have gone all the way with the suit. Put in challenge modes. Like platforming levels where you have to use the power of the suit to navigate a course. Could even make it a race. Or maybe a "Predator" type game mode where one person is invisible and hunts everyone else.
You know, do something interesting instead of just make it like call of duty.
Eh, I wouldn't say that. Then again I enjoyed the first Crysis, so yeah.allinwonder said:So it's at least as "overrated" as the first crysis, according to some folks here, eh?Irridium said:From what I've played, not really. Its more or less the same. On the PC at least.

The crytek modding website, crymod, might clue you in to the plethora of names that can be made to include the word "cry"The Wykydtron said:Wait Crysis is a game?
I thought it was a graphics engine that dreamed of the stars...
Though i can't wait to see which original IP Crytek will make next, just to see how far they go to base the title off the word "Cry"
