I use it for just about all of my online purchases (that take it of course). I feel it's safer than like entering your credit card information and whatnot on other random pages.

Safe, quick and convenient. No reason not to use it, really. Of course, you should always do a thorough check on the person you're buying/receiving from. If something goes wrong, you can always file a dispute, but better to nip that possibility in the bud.

It's likely safer than most solutions. Nothing is 100%, but paypal is not bad. I use it a lot.

Safer than giving people your credit card number. You tell it to pull funds from your bank account, and then you transfer it to other people for products, no numbers learned to screw you up at all.

It's safe. Actually, it came about in the early days of E-bay as a method of reducing the risk of credit card fraud in online transactions, so the whole point of it is safety. Of course, I don't know of too many sites aside from E-bay itself that still use it today, but at one point the simple fact that a site took Paypal usually meant that it was a legitimate business.

For day to day purchasing, it's safe. I wouldn't rely on it for my sole means of doing business, but for the customer it's ok.

As with a lot of things on the internet, it's safe as long as you don't do anything stupid.

It's safe, sure, but it doesn't ever recognise by debit card which is REALLY irritating =\

There are hate sights out there like 'paypal sucks' for sure but ive been using them for 5 years with no problems whatsoever and ive never personally met anyone who had an issue with them. I'd give them the thumbs up myself.

when you put your credit card number in you just give the number to the site you're buying from

when you use Paypal you enter your payment details on a special Paypal page, rather than on the site you're buying from. so yeah, you won't have a bunch of people who know how to scam you.

just to be sure, learn what the "special Paypal page" address looks like when you buy from a 100% legitimate place so you know what it should look like when you buy from anywhere else. but that's just me being paranoid...

Most of the large online retailers can use paypal.

It's a very handy service that I tend to use for all my online purchases. Quite safe but it helps that I work at where I bank so I can easily keep tabs on that sort of stuff.

I personally quite like it, it provides you with a fast and easy method to pay almost anywhere, and I've never heard anything bad about its security.

As does, most importantly for me, Steam.
