Does Razorfist have a problem with Yahtzee?

You know, when Yahtzee rants about games his accent and the tone of his voice makes it all so charming. This Razorfist guy just sounds like BRIAN BLESSED if he was an american....and a douche.
What? Someone having a problem with Yahtzee? Did we suddenly give a damn? Did HE suddenly give a damn? (Not likely.)
I don't know if its because of what I've seen in media so far or not, but I have to agree. Maybe it's more the fact that when the Brits do it, they're more subtle. "The game had CGI cutscenes!" - Still isn't a point in an argument. It's a fact. He tried to say that the games had too many CGI cutscenes, but that's the closest he came to making a point, and it's one that is entirely subjective anyway.
Razorfist (he needs to earn that umlaut) is just a random hypocritical asshole trolling for video hits, and based on the responses he's received indirectly as a result of this topic, few people are buying it.

Skipped through small bits of that FFVII video, couldn't stand him. He lacks any personality, charm, wit or thought to his arguments and instead goes for the try hard approach (aka. sounding like a mad 13 year old fanboy on Gamefaqs). What a dumbass to criticize guys like Yahtzee/Avgn, this is one of those cases where he wishes he had the popularity of them and instead of accepting he needs to work on his material with defend his techniques repeatedly.
Oh Screwattack, you used to be such a good site, am I the only one who just goes "Meh..." at their newish content? I was a fan of them even back in the Handsome Tom days far before he left. It was better back then, they had a good dynamic with eachother, all the newer guys aren't likable at all.

Yahtzee mentioned once in a video and a few times during events (cons, desert bus etc.) that he enjoyed Final Fantasy VI when he was a wide eyed youngin' and the turn based combat was quick and dirty, as if they were ashamed of it. Well, that sucked. The FF7 video, not the FF13 one. He barely mentioned the game and spent most of it complaining about people. I especially liked how he complained that FF7 had the same gameplay as Breath of Fire despite coming out years before and somehow neglects to mention that all the final fantasy games ebfore breath of fire had the same gameplay, more or less.
Yeah I agree. That video really sucks. But I think it was his first episode so I can cut him a break. The newer stuff I've seen (Mass Effect, Heavy Rain blah blah)has been really good. Usually better than the guys he bashes, anyways.
What I find funny about Razorfist is he's friends with Asalieri, somebody on YouTube who supposedly "reviews reviewers." This is super ironic, because the crap Razorfist does on his channel proves he is in NO WAY better/less trollish/more skilled at reviewing than the people Asa mocks, those being such individuals as NC17, Irate Gamer, Game Dude and yes, even Yahtzee. A lot of the ranting points one could use in pointing out why Irate Gamer is a poor reviewer, for example, apply just as much to Razorfist. Especially the needless profanity.
It's stupid to claim one isn't original or clever because one uses a script. He cites Spoony as a positive example, but if you know anything about Spoony's reviews you'd realize it's almost a certainty that SPOONY ALSO USES A SCRIPT. He might or might not be reading directly off it, but he's basically doing the same thing. In some cases Spoony has been accused of outright staging "comedic" moments in Let's Plays (intentionally playing a game poorly so he can whine about some supposed problem that is never an issue), which to me seems way more faked and talentless than not being able to spontaneously crack jokes.
I think Yahtzee deserves to be mocked, but not my someone like Razorfist who is basically ripping off AVGN, while at the same time considering himself above the other AVGN ripoffs who populate the Internet. Check any random AVGN video, then watch one of his. Notice a difference? Not really.
Recently Razorfist has taken to producing vlogs. While these aren't very long, the audio and video quality is terrible. Razorfist also seems to enjoy using a black/white filter, which seems pretentious. Between the terrible audio quality, terrible video quality and poor content, his vlogs have officially become the worst thing on his channel. I still find Razorfist a little better than some YouTube reviewers (and his reviews do vary a bit more than the Yahtzee formula), but I suspect I can only tolerate him because the bar on YouTube reviewing is set so low.
Edit: Razorfist's point about the art style of Marvel vs Capcom 3 is well made. I agree with him that high contrast cell shading looks terrible.

So he seems like a crappy version of AVGN, even copying some of his lines down to the wording ("I would rather eat a [crappy thing] and wash it down with [another crappy thing] than play this game")...

That guy is extremely misinformed. The original Final Fantasy came out six years before Breath of Fire and it had the same battle system. I don't like this man.Azex said:
