But combat gets worse. Like many RPGs there is a dramatic drop in difficulty once you get some skills and better gear.

So yeah, go back and play Demon's Souls, and then maybe look at some of the other Souls game if you haven't before. They get better. (Though change in various ways that differentiate them from the others in small but big ways.)

eh. i don't know about that. I mean from Demon to Dark 1 it got better but from Dark 1 to Dark 2 it got worse. Can't comment on Blood because I don't have a ps4 to play it.

In my opinion, you're dead right about Dark 1 to Dark 2. (Because Dark 2 feels more like Demon 2 and I didn't enjoy Demon that much.) Anyways, our experience isn't universal, so they may find dark 2 better.

And Bloodborne is pretty sweet, And getting the whole DLC package now makes it even better if you haven't joined the Bloodborne party yet.
