You get a new game and you have them mail it to you but you're not at home when the package arrives. Does your family ever do this to you? What would you say back? Would you give in to save the game?

Rephrased: Does your family keep/hide your games from you? Would you do what they asked to get it back?

I still don't get it and no, because I usually get to the mail first. Even if they do get the mail first they have the decency not to open mine.

Uh... I don't get my games through the mail. I just usually buy a copy from a local store that sells them.

But they were time were I bough a game and I couldn't go back home yet. Those always left me tense and wanting to go home.

I'm not certain that I understand the question. Could you rephrase it?
Look at the pic, it should make sense now.
It does, and to answer your question, this has never happened to me since I do not order games over the Internet.

The reason I bought it from GameStop.com was to get in the beta with the pre-order. I was unaware that I could go to the store, pre-order and they would send me the beta CD-key. What's wrong with buying games over the internet [besides shipping time]?

To me, the shipping time is the entire crux; it is why I only buy things over the Internet when that is the sole way of acquiring them.

You adopt your best Jack Bauer voice and shout as loud as you possibly can:

"Mother, tell me where the game is (think bomb). Just tell me where the game is."

*Walks away for a few paces frustrated then turns and rushes forward*

"Millions of lives are at stake! GIVE ME THE GODDAMN [name]GAME!!"

I rarely get games in the mail, but when I have, my parents have given it to me the second they could. They do have a habit of not telling me when magazines get delivered.

I'm an only child, i guess this sort of thing only happens with siblings.
Yes, it is quite common with my siblings. I work all day so I am not there to get the mail when it arrives; unless it is delivered on a Saturday.
