I played Borderlands during the free weekend on steam and loved it in the time I had, but sadly was afflicted with nasty crashing problems that really made it sort of unplayable, none of which I was able to resolve even after lots of internet searching and fixing.
Now Borderlands 2 is coming out, and I actually have friends that are also getting it, I'd really like to buy it, but as it uses the same engine as Borderlands 1, do you think it's a risky purchase? I don't actually know much about how games work or are designed, so I was just wondering whether crashing in the first likely means crashing in the second.
Thanks.
