Does upgrading the hard drive burn a PSN use?

Hi

I want to start buying stuff on PSN but I also want to upgrade the HDD when I can afford it. Will upping the HD cost me one of my PSN install-uses? I can't seem to get a clear answer on that elsewhere.

Well I'm quite sure you can just download it again for free since you've already purchased it. I'd get a second opinion on that as I've never bought anything from the store

I think, don't quote me on this, that if you buy a PSN game that you can redownload it to your PS3. That's how it worked for me so far, no problems.

The only time you burn up a use is if you install/dl on a new console. I just wanted to know if purchasing a new HD counts as a new console.

I'm sure it wouldn't. If you use the same PSN it shouldn't worry. But don't take my word for this. Try Googling this or call Customer Support
