Does your Wii collect dust?

I notice I spend a great deal of time playing 360 and ps3 games and my Wii collects dusts for months at a time. The last time I touched it was for Xenoblade Chronicles a few months ago. Before that was a few months earlier playing Skyward Sword, and I don't even remember the last time I touched it before that.

The console does have some good games, but they seem far and few between. Also if a game is available on all 3 consoles I doubt many choose to get the Wii version.

What about you?

Nope. I was just playing Mario Kart Wii last night. I do tend to have periods where I ignore my Wii for my other consoles, but I always go back to it eventually.

Yes indefinitely and it doesn't help the fact that I'm slowly becoming a PC gamer (bought Diablo 3 and I gonna get Guild Wars 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron next and more).
Seriously what the hell Nintendo? There are hardly no Wii games coming out this christmas (since they're are shifting toward the Wii U soon)!

Yes, it does. By far the least-played console I've ever owned, and I've owned every single Nintendo console since the NES. I've spent, quite easily and without exageration, at least 100 gameplay hours on my PS3 for every one hour on the Wii.

Yes it does.

Girls just don't seem to be very interested in it. *sigh*

It has been gathering dust for quite a while unfortunately. I expected it to live again with Skyward Sword's release, but it turned out to be a disappointment for me. The Wii is the only current generation console I have (and the first one I bought since the N64) since I thought it would be the logical complement to a PC. I won't deny that it got some good games, but it didn't get nearly enough of them.

No, my sibling tends to use the Wii more often now to watch Netflix on it.

I also have a handful of Wii titles that I get around to play.

It doesn't, but that is only because I play my gamecube games on it. If I didn't give my gamecube away, then the wii would be gathering dust. I don't have many games for it, well, not many compared to what I have for my other consoles, and it is the least played console I own. It's a shame, it has a lot of promise, but the most I play on it is harvest moon and rune factory.

Same here. At this point, it is meant for parties with noobs only. Sad. I have no interest in Wii U. Nintendo, for now, is dead to me. Like you, I've owned every one since NES. No more.

I made my discovery while playing Mad World. I was enjoying it, but wished I had a normal controller. I haven't touched single player on Wii ever since.

I bought a Wii for my Girlfriend for Christmas along with Super Mario Galaxy. Within the year I bought Little King Story and Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Once I finished those games the Wii just sat there collecting dust, mocking me with it's glowing red light.

If it weren't for the fact that it's not mine I would have given it to my Sister for her kids a long time ago.

I still play it, not as often as my PS2/3 but I don't have as many games for it either. I also use it as a gamecube so I get more use out of it than just solely playing Wii games.

I never got one, they never appealed to me. My brother had one but I don't think I ever properly played it.

It's just not entertainment.

Yes and I'm too afraid to see the doctor about it. I should really get it checked though.

OT: Yes it does. Last time I played it was to play New Super Mario Bros. and even then it was just because it was something that my whole family could manage to play while waiting for the darts final to begin.

for the most part yepp, very very rarely will play some brawl or mario, even then that is using the gamecube controllers.

the system will probably turn into a large white coaster in the coming years, there are just no games for it that are coming out that i care for nor ones that have already came out.

All of my consoles were collecting dust, but especially the Wii for years. I recently moved to a new apartment and left all the other consoles with my boyfriend for now and just took the Wii, and I've actually been playing it a bit more. I only play old games on it though, like the NES/Genesis/N64 ones and occasionally a few Gamecube games. Though I do occasionally play that one New Super Mario Bros. one, but I love Mario in general.

Nah, I play all of my consoles and on my ipod and pc equally. Maybe it collects a little dust because I usually go through them in sessions but for the most part I play everything.

It's the Zelda Player now. I just bring it out when I want to play one of the Zelda games, so it gets used a couple times per year.

I do play it occasionally, but rarely in comparison to my 360. I do have a reasonable collection of good games for it, but its dwarfed by my 360 and PS2 collections. There just aren't that many good games for it, but I think it's worth it for the ones it does have. Mostly I just use it for Zelda though. I'm more or less prepared to buy any Nintendo console just for Zelda. Anything else is a bonus.

But if we're talking about actually collection physical dust, it doesn't get much more than other consoles. I don't often need to move or get behind any of my consoles or anything, so they all tend to collect a coating of dust.

Nope, playing Final Fantasy 6 on virtual console. Gonna get me some retro castlevania games after I finish that.
