This article gives me more desire to buy the game than all of those "mother" commercials put together.

Just because this whole thread is far too positive, and I like balance...

Surely with EULAs, DRM, and all the various copyright rules, we've had it drilled into us that we're not buying ANY game, merely renting the possibility of playing it until the owners of the game get bored.

Therefore as we've paid for the rights to play it, and not just 'bought a disc', responsibility to offer a reasonably priced replacement disc should lie with the company , not the customer. I don't mean the EA style 'if you damage your disc, send a copy of your reciept, cd key, and the disc, along with $20 to us, and we'll investigate your claim' - I mean show proof of purchase and the disc and get a new disc for $3 delivered.

However, despite my moaning, in this case, kudos to them for doing such a fine thing, above and beyond what I'd have hoped for :D

The bonus artwork is especially good of them!

This story is definitely touching, but the weights do make me wonder if the dog broke it, or if it was the steroids XP

Just goes to show all you have to do is ***** and complain about things openly on the interwebs and they get solved.

The story is nice and all but not her I don't think she deserved it for being a troll right from the start.

Quite the story :D
Although I found it weird when she just gave her address away on the internet. I'd hope that they told her what they were going to use it for before she gave it to them.

HUnh... Thats not how I thought this was gonna end up. I thought we were going to hear a story about how a dog wound up homeless or something.

Still, thats very nice of game developers. I remeber when I got a personal message from Atlus, which was awesome.

Why are you guys freaking out about the weights? What makes you think the girl doesn't have a roomie?

Contrary to popular belief, we aren't all just in this for the money and the chance to rape your favorite intellectual properties. Thanks to the guys and girls at Visceral for helping to prove that. ^_^b
