I have a collie, she's a pest. But we love her. She's white (yes they come in white) so she gets us noticed everywhere we go; which is something I wish I'd thought of before I got her. I just didn't want her to look like the sable collie I used to have. I'm very partial to the working or utility breeds like Rotties, dobies, mastiffs, boxers and such. I love herding dogs too though. I just like dogs, even the little ones. I just wish that people wouldn't put them in purses and treat them like babies. The best thing about your dog is that it's a dog; let them alone.

I like Welsh Corgies.
I have had two, one was the best dog I have ever had.
They are so friendly it is astounding.
I take it you're a Cowboy Bebop fan. But what kind of Welsh Corgi? There are more than one... :p

I have an eleven-year old black lab. Way too lovable for her own good. And a shih tzu/lhasa apso who is really good as a lap dog, but really just wants to be a door alarm (If you have one, you'll know)

I have a super smart Australian Shepherd. I noticed that it was pretty cold in my apartment today, but then I stood up some minutes later and realized it was about 90 degrees. I looked at the thermostat (it's one of those old dial ones) and it was at max. I glance over at the couch and there is my dog, smiling and looking smug.

That couldn't have been on purpose...right?

You never know; in my experience, dogs can be some of the craftiest animals out there.

Alaskan Malamute. Think husky but much bigger, around 130 pounds to be precise.

I love shepherds best of all, they're just great dogs all the way around. I hate small dogs, especially toys. They serve NO PURPOSE. They're ugly, annoying, and with a great load of psychological issues inherent in the in-breeding required to make them that small. There's a reason chihuahuas are so fucked up.

Give me big dogs, preferably closer to the lupine line. Though Irish Wolfhounds are just absolutely amazing.

my mom has a sheltie and my dad has a siberian husky. I was raised with shelties and huskies all my life and i have to say they are both amazing dogs, even though the huskies shed like no other. For myself im thinking of getting an english bulldog or a newfounland, i would love to adopt a mutt but seeing how i live in an apartment (a big nice one too) no rescue society will let me adopt :(

This is my dog Guinness, he's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Although he's a close relation to the dangerous and illegal Pit Bull Terrier, he's really friendly. That being said he's also very protective of our house, thieves beware.

I got the muttiest mutt in Muttland. But he's awesome, albeit lazy.
As for breeds, I don't really have a prefrence. Unless "Doesn't maul your arm off" is a breed of dog.

We ain't got any dogs, no room for them, just 2 cats whom I love to death. That said, my grandma has a crazy ass Flatcoat Retriever whom I also love to death. I can like most dog species I think, it all depends on the individual character in the end, but I have a thing for Border Collies, any kind of Retriever, Huskies and any kind of Shepherd. But again, as I said, it's character what matters the most.

In the past I have had a Boston Terrier and a Pomeranian. Right now my housemates have two pugs, which are pretty awesome. I would love to have a tri-color Corgi. I think they are just awesome little dogs.
