Which animal/creature/monster would you like to have as a pet, if you could choose from any game, mythology, religion or fairy tail, etc?
[sub]And why (if you can be bothered) a [insert choice here] in particular?[/sub]

If you can, providing a picture would be a great idea. That way we won't have to google it all!

Strictly dealing with real life things, I'd take a dog.

If it could be anything, I suppose a smallish dragon that wasn't prone to random infernos and the like would be pretty sweet.

I wouldn't want anything bigger, stronger, smarter or more powerful then me in anyway cause then it would cease to be a pet and begin to be a monster that had some serious confusion over which one of us was in charge. If that was the case, I'd elect a simple pet dog, cat or perhaps a bird of some description.

If my pet would stay a pet and not a crazy monster that I had no authority or control over, them perhaps Mewtwo.

EDIT: The dragon because it's a dragon and I would be able to fly on it. The fire lizard because it is a miniature dragon and can understand what I want... and they are cute.
