I don't get why everyone is shouting source when you can just type it into google. We're all big boys and girls, and all have access to search engines. Anyways, apparantly cats can get it, so I assume dogs can as well. http://www.chicagotribune.com/health/chi-flu-pets_mullennov08,0,7440266.story

I found it quite interesting that a cat caught the swine flu. Poor cat.


It does say in the article, "No dogs are known to have caught H1N1" with a note that it could be possible. So that may debunk the thread-maker.

Right. Maybe you should read what I wrote... you know, about the article being about a cat catching swine flu, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say a dog could get it. I never claimed it must be true, did I? What's with the attitude, I don't even know you!

I would imagine it was due to the patronising attitude of your original post.
Also, cats and dogs aren't similar enough to make that assumption.
Just saying, not starting anything...
