I tend to think the wolf-like ones (such as German Shepherds, Malamutes and Huskies) are the cutest, but I tend to like most dog breeds (Pugs and other breeds with breathing problems tend to disturb me due to the amount of noise they make when breathing).

I used to have a golden retriever and a West Highland terrier. Both died within the past 8 months. They lived long lives, but I miss them terribly. :(

Well I prefer cats but my dog is nice and tiny and I guess I like it that way for now for the sake of my cat.

My husband and I have Bobo...a shar-pei. Stubborn as shite, but loyal and friendly and sweet...
He's quite old now....I'd really like our next dog to be a rescue of some sort....a rottie or a greyhound, maybe...

While I am well aware of what would be needed in order to have a mixed breed like that, I know that it is possible and has been done, at least in some kind of accidental manner. The town I just moved out of recently had a Boxer/Bulldog mix at the Humane Society. He was an adorable lil' guy and I would have gotten him, however my apartment building management was already bitchy about us having our cat as it was.

Awww, looks just like my late dog Timmy. Such a lovely friend he was.

I love all dogs, but I think I love the bigger dogs just a little bit more. Retrievers are terrific. I'm a big fan of the wolf-like appearances as well, like the Siberian Huskies.

Wow! How did it look? Both dogs have great temperaments, so I would expect it to be pretty friendly. Really, you can't go wrong with Boxers. I'm rather surprised they aren't used for mixes more than poodles.

Goddamn. Except for the whitish muzzle, that's a clone of my late black labrador... right down to the collar. We even have a picture of him lying in that position on our kitchen floor :p

I hate yappy ankle biters. Give me a wolfhound, a shepherd, a greyhound, or a Labrador, and I'm happy. Or huskies, malamutes, etc.
This too. Few small dogs have ever won my respect.

I like gigantic dogs 'cause they usually tend to be more mellow and down to earth than terriers.

When I get a stable job after college/university, I hope to get a German Shepherd at first, then maybe a Saint Bernard for extra company.
