Apparently Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was canned in favour of Dollhouse. Now I do like Whedons work but as far as Im concerned Dollhouse was inferior, hopefully they will bring back SCC now.

That would make sense, and as such I'd be amazed if it happened.

Do not care.
What he said.

Joss is not God people, sometimes his shows get canceled because they're, you know, bad. I gave Dollhouse a chance and was not impressed. Firefly is great, but I didn't even see it while it was on TV, seeing as how I was in Tokyo at the time.

I really like Dollhouse. Started slow, and a lot of the characters felt like cardboard cutouts of Firefly characters given a different face, but it showed promise And now its starting to get into its stride. Epitath 1 was sheer genius, and the season so far has been incredible. However, I'm not surprised, and I don't blame Fox. More and more, the point of the show is to examine existential themes and morality, and that just doesn't appeal to a mainstream audience. I don't blame Fox here, and I'm glad that they both gave the show a second season, and are letting the season finish out properly. Besides, Echo is on the Cusp of a composite event, and you can see all the pieces between here and Epitath 1 falling into place, so 2 seasons is probably the right length. I'm sad to see it go, but I think that wrapping it up now will make it a better show.

My only real complaint is not seeing Dichen Lachman anymore. I have come to adore her character, and I seriously think she is destined to be the next geek guy Goddess. Really hope that Joss uses her in whatever he does next, and that we get to see more of her. I mean, besides her being a great actress, and to delve into the realm of completely shallow here...shes smoking hot.

From what I heard (could be wrong), it was more Eliza's show than Joss's. Apparently she really wanted him to write for her again. Is it true the biggest failing of the show was her acting talent not being good enough for the concept? I mean, a protagonist that has to play a different person every week? That's a tall task.

Anyway. It sucks FOX renewed this over Sarah Connor Chronicles then decided to cancel this too. Oi vey, FOX. 8|

I see your arguments about downloading leading to shows getting canned. I honestly would pay money to just be able to watch these shows online. I would much rather pay the show directly by subscribing to a show I liked online and paying it for it that way than "supporting" them by having to sit through all the ads that flood cable TV, not to mention the nuisance of not being able to watch it at my leisure. I really have a schedule where its hard to revolve my free time around when a show is aired.
I also make a point of buying the seasons of shows on DVD, though that obviously doesn't help the show when its on the air. I just honestly don't see the point in cable when the internet is so much more convenient. Thoughts?
